We are Alex and Laura, sisters, original Fen girls, and founders of Olive & Wallis.
Back in 2019, we talked about building a business together. Then the Covid pandemic hit, and life became anything but normal. It made us stop, rethink, and ultimately take a leap of faith – turning that idea into something real.
We design and make jewellery that we hope you’ll love, for you, or for someone you love.
Jewellery has always meant more to us than just something you wear.
A lot of our inspiration comes from pieces that have been handed down through our family. Keepsakes, family heirlooms, and modern antiques. We are a sentimental pair when it comes to certain items of jewellery, because they were mum’s or her mum’s.
For us, what they mean and where they come from makes us want to wear them more.
They are everyday pieces – but they feel special.
You may notice that we love coins. Dad bought Mum a penny farthing ring back in 1963 and both of us wear it. It’s easy to see why we love coins so much. They are a piece of the past, they can be very sentimental and they look awesome.
Then there are the chains. Single, stacked, cable link, belcher, curb, satellite, paperclip, box, the variety is endless and if you find one you love, it will become your jewellery staple, whether you love it on its own, or layered with other chains and pendants.
Finally, you may notice all our pieces have names. This part seemed like a natural progression for us, to name the jewellery we love making after some of the special women in our lives. It's a nod to all the amazing women out there and what they achieve everyday. It's all about sisterhood!
We are so excited to be starting out together. It’s still a young business, but we hope to build a foundation that allows us to create affordable heirloom pieces.

In 2026, we shouldn’t be throwing away our best necklace because it has gone green (or sent you the same way). You should be able to go back to that piece time and time again. Our collections are tarnish resistant, hypoallergenic, and environmentally friendly. Kind to you, your pocket, and the planet.
